Day 1-Tokyo

Day 1: We arrive in Tokyo bright in early in the morning and spend the day visiting art museums. Tokyo's Modern Museum of Art was by far the coolest. Here me and Sally are at one of the exhibitions that used shadows as a medium.

The traditional Japanese works were amazing. I love the style of using natural brush pigments on thin paper, which is then put onto  accordion-like displays. The oil painting below also stood out as my favorite painting. I love the mystical look of it and can't believe such a cool painting is part of Japanese history.

I these pop-art style magazine print designs in the museum as well. I thought that they resembled the poster art in the San Francisco airport.
That night we explored "Electric Town" and then met some new friends who showed us around to another area of Tokyo, apparently where 'Tokyo Drift' was filmed
